# WARNING
Catchy contains a variety of games where throwing the device is the main purpose. By using this application the user agrees that the producer shall not be held to any liability with respect to any claim by the user or a third party arising from the use of Catchy, nor shall the producer be liable for any special indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of Catchy.
This application assumes that the user catches the device at the same height as it was thrown. Measurements shown within this application are merely inaccurate guidelines for entertainment purposes. Do not use for precision measuring.
# FAQ
Q: Throws are not well detected, what is wrong?
A: There are 3 possibilities.
1) It is important to make sure the phone does not spin too much while in the air. This may cause unexpected readings in the accelerometer of the phone due to centripetal forces. Also while it is air-born the device should not touch anything at all, as the algorithm will think the throw ended.
2) The accelerometer in your phone is possibly not accurate enough. Some accelerometers only have an output rate of 10 to 20 measurements per second. However, the minimum recommended rate for the throw detection algorithm is 50!
3) Your accelerometer is broken.
Q: Drops are not well detected, what is wrong?
A: The same reasons of the answer above apply here. But there are exceptions, some accelerometers are not accurate enough to detect drops but do detect throws better.
